The shirt is comfortable across my shoulders, something i have problems with even fir tees. The waist of the kilt is exceptionally comfortable and there's no rolling or sliding with movement. The sporan seems well made and holds my important stuff, keys, wallet, and phone. I feel like it needs a broad belt and am currently using my leather working skills to make one. But I'll ad a modern touch with a nontraditional designed buckle. Stockings gave my daughter a laugh because they came up to my thigh and im 6'3. However once the garters are added and the sock is folded to only show tartan it's perfect. I wore it to a beach party on Mayday and as soon as the sun went down my wife stole the yardage and turned it into a shawl, even stealing my broach and using it to secure if like an Celtic Babushka. It was a birthday gift from my family, and its the best birthday gift I've recieved in quite some time. Literally up there with receiving my first car and my drumkits. I'll likely be ordering the other kilt full outfit with the waist coat and jacket when my wife and I renew our vows and have an actual wedding (we did civil courthouse wedding) for our 20th anniversary in October. Thank you. I know it's only a set of clothes, but it helps me stay connected to my celtic roots and my family's traditions. The tam though? Not for me. Mostly it's the puff on top. I take those off of my watch and ski caps. I take it off the tam, I have a beret style hat that looks really good, and celts and gaelic people are historically connected, so I refuse to believe I'm the first to make that choice.
I ordered a clan kilt online and it arrived about two weeks after the order was placed. The garment is heavy and appears well made! The product comes from **** so expect a few days for shipping but I am sure you will be very happy with the product!
